Expanding Access to Education

Fewer than 1% of refugees attend university due to significant barriers such as language, cost, stability and legal status. However, education is crucial for improving people's lives as it increases social cohesion and economic opportunity. To this end, ARDC offers several pathways to help asylum seekers continue their education. Since July, we have offered unlimited FREE access to Coursera's online classes. Coursera is an accredited online education platform that gives access to courses from the world's top universities. So far, our students have enrolled in more than 60 classes.
